Before January 2018 he had never had technical dance training. He started the 1 year dance program in September 2018 and now he has been accepted into Copenhagen School of Perfoming Arts (DDSKS - Den Danske Scenekunst Skole). That is what you can achieve in just nine months at Sceneindgangen.

MISSION STATEMENT
Sceneindgangen´s 1 Year Dance Education aspires to make you a strong and versatile dancer/performer.
We work on both technical skills, improvisation and performance skills. We educate both modern dancers who also wish to have a knowledge in Jazz/show as well as musical performers who also want skills in contemporary and improvisation.
Through the 14 years we have run our education we have produced modern/contemporary dancers, circus artists, dancers in classical companies, musical performers, teachers and choreographers. We have also seen former students continue their knowledge of dance in physio therapy, psychology, creative writing and more.
The versatility and focus of the education is a great foundation to move on from.
One of the most respected dance programs in Scandinavia. Giving you the technical basis to start an intensive dance career.
Starting September 2020 the student follow a schedule of 15 dance classes a week from Tuesday - Saturday

For students of the ecucation you can take extra evening classes for free.
THE SHOW
You take part in our Spring Show at the end of May.

THE FACILITIES
Sceneindgangen have their own facilities, which means the students get their own "dance home" for a year. The students are always welcome to stay for extra practice and take extra classes in the evenings.
LOCATION
The school is located in the heart of creative Nørrebro with two beautiful studios, a small lounge area and kitchen. The bigger studio can be turned into a theatre for performances.

Vocal Coach
Dorte is training as an actor from Queen Margaret College in Scotland. In Denmark she has apeared in tv shows like "Stand-Up DK" and "Hvide Løgne", as well as films like "Breaking The Waves", "Alle For To" and "Escaping The Dead".
She has become a sought after drama coach as well being one of the top stage fight instructors working with both physical fighting and weaponry.
On the side Dorte works as a caster for various tv productions.
Mette Skovmark is trained from The Danish Musical Academy, and as vocal teacher from Certified Master Teacher of Estill Voice Training.
On stage she has appeared in Jesus Christ Superstar, Fiddler On The Roof, Cabaret, Cyrano, various musical theatre concerts and more.
As a vocal coach she works with what specifically happens when we produce sound. We work with muscles, and with the right training we can achieve strong, flexible and enduring voice, that will express what we want.
JENNY MAJOR
Modern Contemporary, Jazz,
Improvisation and Composition
As founder, co-owner and artistic director of the school, Jenny is the primary guide of your development. There are other dance teachers attached to the school for subjets like Tap dance, Musical theater repertoire etc. but Jenny is in charge of who teaches what, and who you as a student need as a teacher.
Jenny is originally trained as a dancer at Balettakademien in Göteborg and has twenty years of teaching experience.

PILATES & BALLET
Marie-Claire is English and originally trained with the prestigious Royal Ballet School of London. She has danced with both Royal Ballet, London as well as the Royal Danish Ballet and at the Pantomime Theatre in Tivoli, Copenhagen.
Anja has danced as a soloist with Ballet Theatre Munich as well as Augsburg, Berlin and with Danish Dance Theatre. Her goal is to teach teach technique the applies to any dance genre. She is also fully certified as a Pilates Instructor with her own studio Incore Pilates.
